Born in Mitilini, Greece in 1983 with dual Greek/German nationality, he studied computer science, specialising in networks and security, then worked for a large IT corporation in Athens, while also playing basketball at a national level. He hitchhiked for a year, drawing a circle around the world. Self-taught as a filmmaker, after dropping out of a film school in Athens, he directed Scenes from Athens, a short documentary, and is now an alumnus of Berlinale Talent Campus and Sarajevo Talent Campus. He has worked in the audiovisual industry in Athens.
Currently in preproduction of his short film II, he has won the Hellenic National Broadcaster fund (Greece), the Nordmedia fund and the Kuratorium fund (Germany) as well as the Pack & Pitch 2011 program of the Sarajevo International Film Festival.
